Jan is a qualified Case Manager and has over 25 years’ experience in managing and rehabilitating young people with acquired brain injury and other acquired disabilities. She founded Bennu International in 2002. Jan has held many leadership positions including president of Head Injury Association 1998 – 2008, President of Head Injury Council of Australia (completed term 2004) and was a Member National Disability Advisory Council advising the Federal Minister for Disability for 4 years (completed term 2003).
Jan has won several awards including Best Small Business 2010 (Local Chamber of Commerce) Business Woman of the Year 2004 (Local Chamber of Commerce) Australian Micro Business award Emerging Best Business 2003 and was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow 1997. She is currently a member of the Australian Society for the Study of Brain Impairment, the Medical Register of Australia Rehabilitation /Occupational Medicine and the Royal College of Nursing. Currently a Board Member of the Australian Institute of Clinical Neuroscience of Australia.
Kathy Collins – Case Manager CPCMCMSA
Kathy is a certified practising case manager. She has worked as a senior case manager since 2003 with Bennu International. Her client base includes people with acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, and rehabilitation. Kathy has worked extensively with national and international clients of all age groups.
